Summer is almost over- really? (Tampa Children Photographer)

Wow- can you believe it is almost the end of August? I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. Yesterday was the first day of school for my children.... so I thought I would have a nice relaxing day at the spa- right? Not hardly- 7 sessions yesterday and 6 sessions today. Just please be patient with me as I try to edit and post these images. This image is for the September cover of Tampa Bay Parenting- a special thank you for everyone that made this shoot possible (especially the horse stables in South Tampa). Going Back to School- More Best Friends Sessions (Tampa High School Senior Photographer Class of 2011)

The countdown has officially started! As everyone gets ready to go back to school, please remember that senior sessions are still going on at Nicole Geller Photography. The deadline for the Tampa Teen Connection Applications is September 15th so we are still booking sessions (and taking advantage of the 1/2 Wednesdays for Public High Schools). These seniors from Brandon were just so much fun! It is truly just an awesome time to photograph a group of best friends- they actually come up with their own poses and just have fun with it! Attention: Class of 2011 HIgh School Seniors (Tampa High School Senior Photographers)

How is your Summer going? I wish that I could say that I have slowed down, but it is just impossible for me to slow down! I have done four triathlons, taken some great family trips and somehow managed to shoot between 6-12 sessions each week- just crazy!

So have you all seen that commercial that says something to the fact of being 5 again- I just love that commercial. I really think they need to change it to being 17 again. I dug deep for my high school senior special (add attached) this time. You see, when I was 17, my best friends and I, went to Sears to get a picture taken of us. Funny thing is that I am still best friends with these girls, and although we no longer go to Sears, we have some great pictures to look back on. I am offering a best friends session (guys and girls) to any High School Seniors (Class of 2011). We can do the session at my studio, Ybor City or I have a super cool spot that I am keeping a secret (the session in the ad was at my secret spot). The best part is you only pay one session fee so the more friends you bring, the more money you will save. Each of you will get one free jpeg to Face Brag- how cool is that! We have some great graduation announcements which I know is hard to think about since you have not even started your senior year! Just remember- do you want super cool announcements or the standard ones that have nothing on them?

After all, a head shot is a really great way of marketing YOU! Wow! What a HOT Summer already here at the studio- things are heating up (just another excuse as to why I haven't added to my blog lately). We have been super busy, and having a great time inside and outside the studio. Take a look at some of these amazing images from my resident model Trixie taken this week- oh so cool- huh? Two cute little girls (twins) and one really fun dad- just a great family with a mom that did an excellent job at selecting great accessories for the session! Father's Day is a great time to surprise dad with a great picture of the kids (pets too)!

More Matilda Jane News (Child Photographer in Tampa)

So I sent out the news today to all of my clients about the Matilda Jane Model Search/open house at my studio next Friday, May 21st from 2-7. Within minutes, I had already booked 10 sessions- my clients are the best!
With this being said, if you are interested, please get in touch with me ASAP to book your 15 minute session. The sessions will probably be full by tomorrow. The session fee is $50.00 for two 5x7's and a free digital image plus super awesome food from Six Tables. The session will automatically enter you in for a chance for your child (boy or girl) to be the next Matilda Jane model! When you arrive, you will get to select the outfit(s) that you want for the session. I am so super excited about this event! Just send me an email with your 15 minute time slot request (give me a few times for this please).

Oh yes! Huge, super fun news here at the Nicole Geller Photography! I have just finalized the details for next Friday, May st, at my studio. Sessions will be 15 minutes long. Your daughters (ages 6months +) will have the chance to model the amazing clothing from Matilda Jane (check out www.matildajaneclothing.com). You will get one jpeg + an 8x10 or two 5x7's. Your daughter will automatically be entered in the contest to possibly become the next Matilda Jane Model- how awesome right? I will be sending out an email tomorrow to my current client list.... if you are a new client and interested, please just send me a quick email about what session time you want! Two Great Pets and One Great Belly (Tampa Maternity Photographer)

So I received a call from this client- she wanted a maternity session with her two dogs and her husband. I was completely over-joyed at this request since I love to photograph pets especially when a belly bump is involved. The session was great, the dogs were great and we just had a blast! I wish that I could post all of the images since the expressions on the dogs' faces are just hilarious! I cannot wait to meet the new Two Legged Creature that should be arriving very soon!

So have you noticed a trend lately with my blogging? All I have posted is newborn sessions. Well, in the past few days, I have done one maternity session, three newborn sessions, a 5 month session and a 7 month session (oops and 5 corporate head shots). I will continue to post these images so keep on checking back for them- I promise they are super cute!

I wanted to welcome Baby "M"! At one week old, he was the best sleeper ever! I am just still amazed at his ability to sleep at my studio- I am looking forward to photographing him even when he doesn't sleep as well for me! Can you believe that smile? Only a mom (and one very happy photographer) could appreciate this!

"Baby M"- from the moment you walked through my studio door you danced on my heart! Meet Baby M- the youngest of three and such a super baby! Can you believe those amazing eyelashes? Mom and Dad are just as nice as they come.... super in love and just the type of people that would welcome you to their table for dinner- as a matter of fact, they do this every night! I have always been a nature girl! I started at a very young age just wanting to play with bugs, eat flowers (yes, sometimes munching on a few bugs) and just appreciating everything this Earth has to offer! In the spirit of Earth Day, I wanted to post Baby E's image- welcome to the world nature girl too! Yes, this is a 300+ pound stump that took three men to get the stump into my studio! Gotta love it though when you get a shot like this! The stump is actually as big as it looks in this image!

Just gotta love nature! I know I keep on repeating myself, but we have some really cool things to hang babies from in Tampa! I got this bamboo stick from my backyard! This image is a display print that I just put up at The Royal Tea Room. If you have not had the chance to visit The Royal Tea Room in South Tampa, it is the perfect place for Baby Showers and Bridal Showers and well.... just an afternoon tea! Mother's Day 2010 (Tampa Family Photographer)

Oh yes, the most wonderful holiday of the year is soon approaching. It's the day when mom's can sleep in, have breakfast made for them, take a nap without feeling guilty and just get a ton of hugs from their children. I wanted to celebrate this day with a great May special. Mom's get a 1/2 hour session plus three mini accordion albums for $80.00 (I call them mini brag books). I cannot begin to tell you how many moms tell me that they are always behind the camera instead of in front of it. This is also a great time to remind your husbands that flowers last about one week (probably less in my house if the rabbit gets to them), but photographs last a lifetime!

An amazing start to Spring! (Tampa Newborn Photographer)

I am a Florida native so when I think of Spring- I think of blooming azaleas, warmer weather and the oh so dreaded pollen! The month of March and April was quite challenging for everyone in Tampa- watery eyes and stuffed noses were very pervasive. I wanted to take advantage of some of the beautiful flowers that Spring has to offer so take a look at this image of Baby S- just fantastic! I credit myself to being a "lefty" so I am constantly thinking outside of the box- check back for more fun images like this!

I promise to post more images of these amazing newborns! I seriously do not know where the time goes when I am at the studio. I tell myself everyday that I need to post the super fun images that I am taking, but when I look up, it is time for me to head home! I have been going on-location a lot lately which is good- it gets me out of my comfort zone, and I am amazed at what great natural light images I can get. Cover For The Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine (Tampa Child Photographer)

Sorry, it has been way too long since I have posted anything. I just got back from the Disney Cruise (it was just awesome by the way), and I realized how far behind I have gotten with my blog! I was honored to have the cover of Tampa Bay Parenting for April! This image was shot at The Bloom Garden Center. Grace and Trixie were my models. You have seen Trixie before since she is the super model extraordinaire! She was the dog that was filmed last year for TLC (I was the lucky photographer to be on national TV with her). I wanted to let you all know that I will be at Seedlings next month on May 15th for the Third Annual Baby Shower event! It is going to be huge so please bring all of your friends with baby bumps with you! Since half of April is almost over, please make sure you tell all of the newborns out there about my April special! Bring your own branch, get ready to hang and get a free one hour newborn session! This is for new clients only!
