Where has this Tampa Photographer been the past week?

I cannot believe that I have not posted anything in almost one week- I am such a slacker! Well- I have been just a little bit busy with photo sessions so I guess that is the best excuse. I have had seven great sessions this week- maternity, pet, family beach/park and one gorgeous backyard session on Davis Island. I will post a few of the maternity sessions on this entry since I am using some for display on Saturday at Seedlings. Nothing better than the beaches of Florida!

Where in the world has this week gone? In an effort to save time, I have selected my three most favorite images from my beach sessions last weekend. I have had another week of double photo sessions so I am just coming up for air now. I am just so thankful for everyone that makes my life that much better by allowing me to capture their memories. I still find myself getting butterflies before the session, and goosebumps as I edit the images after the session.

An angel from heaven!

I had the true honor of photographing little "Ms. S" for her Baptism invitations and portrait. I told her mommy that I

was not baptized until I was 26 (my best friend's dad baptized me, and it was such a great memory for me). I just love how the light hits her beautiful skin and sweet smile. She was the perfect angel for me!

Two super cute toe-heads!

I have always wondered where people came up with the name "toe-head"- I did a google search this morning only to find a somewhat boring explanation. I had a ball with these two beautiful children- oh to have the amazing skin and light hair that they have! This was a surprise to their parents from grandma- I just love when grandparents do this kind of stuff! Thank you for a wonderful time! This has been a great week of double sessions (and three beach sessions for tomorrow- eek).

I have had every type of session this week from newborn to pets to head shots to children- just loving it all!

This was such a wonderful couple to photograph with their two boys! I truly loved how "in love" they were with their children! There is just something so special about the relationship between pets and their owners- and I get to capture it! Thank you

Hello World! Here I Am!

You might recognize this beautiful mom from a few months back (preggie pictures with her and her dog). Well Baby "R" is now three weeks old. Oh this little guy is super cute and super strong. Gotta love the first image- he is saying hi to all of his fans!

I love black and white photography, but how often do you get red hair like this? I used five studio lights in the color images- love it! Thanks for bringing baby "R" for his first session... many more to come!

Four cutie pies!

I love capturing these children- they are all super fun and very bribeable (is this a word?). I did a session last year when their mama was pregnant with that cute little baby (drool included). I love the image with the ties- dad has a great closet full of them! Can't wait for you to see the other ones "J".... great session- thanks!

Leo- Just the perfect work of art!

I have to admit that I tend to fall in love with each subject during my pet sessions. Leo was no exception to this rule since I could have photographed him for hours! He was my model for my Father's Day Special coming up, and just so wonderful to photograph! Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your baby! I love the one of him on the suitcases- he looks like he will be taking a midnight train to Georgia!!!!! Don't forget to email me about my $40.00 Father's Day special- of course, I want all the dads to have "Man's Best Friend" photographed!

The Sweetest Pea is 4 months old!

Here she is! Just as cute as a pink button, and look at those eyes! I just love babies- the smell of their skin, the drool, the toes, the gummy smiles! Good thing I stopped at two 'cause I could have had a tribe! Thanks Little Miss Muffet for such sweet pictures- no spiders here!

It Was A Red Carpet Night for the Junior League of Tampa

I know that I tend to blog a lot about the Junior League of Tampa! I guess when you really believe in something, you want everyone else to hear about it! I had so much fun photographing them like a Paparazzi on Tuesday night! The girls walked the red carpet, and I got to photograph them. It was really like what you would see on TV. Beautiful girls, super cool dresses and just so much energy! I loved seeing the friendships between these women- just reminds you how important it is to have girlfriends to laugh and have fun with! Thanks once again The Junior League of Tampa! A special congrats to Heather V and her crew on an amazing job with planning this event- well done!

"Mr. Little N" is now six months old!

Oh and he looks so much like his daddy! I have already photographed this little guy four times since he was born, and I still cannot get enough of him! His mommy dresses him so cute, and we just had a ball! This was such a great six month session- and he only pee'd once on my suitcases! Gotta love the lollipop that was bigger than him- his first taste of sugar, and he loved it! My favorite is the one in sepia- the lighting looks really cool! Thanks "D" family!

Father's Day Sessions-

I know what you are thinking.... Mother's Day has not even passed yet, and Nicole is already thinking about Father's Day. Well, that's that life of a photographer. Last week I did a session for Holiday Cards- crazy huh? I am already planning my holiday sessions so please remember to book early! Every year my husband asks for two gifts for Father's Day. One, well you know what it is, and I cannot put it in my blog. Second, he always wants a nice print of our two boys and Carl (our dog). I would much rather photograph your children since my children already know all of my tricks! I am offering a great deal for Father's Day- $40.00 for a 30 minute session and any print of your choice (8x10 or smaller). These must be weekday sessions, and you must bring your husbands tie (don't ask why). Please email me quickly since my clients have already been asking me for this! Please tell a friend and we can do your sessions together! Don't forget "Man's Best Friend"- you know, the four legged ones that tend to be the easiest of the group to photograph! By the way, the image of "Mr. N" was done this week. I will post more from his session tomorrow!

Mother's Day Photos and Contest

Whew- what a week! I am just now putting these images up on my blog. What a great event! I cannot believe how many fun people that I met last Saturday! Did you happen to see the most beautiful little

girl in the world and if you did was she smiling? Does anyone remember this song? Don't ask me why I cannot get it out of my head, but I thought it was perfect for this session. I know the words are supposed to be crying... not smiling. Look how gorgeous she is! I could have posted all of them, but honestly, I am knee deep in photo orders for Mother's Day at this point! Thank you SKM for a great session!

The newest love of my life!

So I had a few more sessions to post, but I could not resist posting this one image. I am the proud owner of a 2009 Cervelo P3!
