More from last week....

Eek! I cannot believe it is already Tuesday, and I am still trying to post sessions from last week. Now I am really behind since I now need to post my Sunday afternoon session, and my Monday morning session. Stick with me on these since they are just the coolest! I had such a hard time selecting images from my Silly Dilly shoot since all of the children were just gorgeous, and so easy to work with! Thank you "Moms/Dads" for having such beautiful children, and making them so much fun! I cannot wait to see some of you this weekend at Bloom! Thank you Katie for the super cool outfits!

Sessions from last week....

Yes- we survived Colorado! A great vacation was had by all! So I am very behind on posting my sessions from last week. We all came down with some really nice sore throats so I am just a little bit behind. This was a great week for sessions for me since I had a huge variety! From beautiful children to head shots to the sweetest First Communion images- can't wait to post them all! Don't forget about next Saturday at Bloom for my Easter Sessions- I had 18 spots, and only two are them are not filled- so awesome! I met with Julie (the owner) to design "the set"- it is going to be so beautiful with the most amazing Spring Flowers, and don't forget about Hummer the live bunny! These images are too cute- I just had to post them- the dresses and Ballerina Slippers are from http://www.sillydillytotspot.com/

Oh.. you will have to check my blog for my May 2nd event- it is going to be huge!

Yesterday I was taped for a National TV Show!

Can you believe it? I am still in shock! I received a call from one of my pet clients last week. I have photographed her pet a lot since her pet images can been seen on websites and other promotional items. I was so excited to know that TLC (The Learning Channel) had seen my work, and wanted to tape me live photographing "Ms. T". The crew was amazing (hope you liked the chocolate chip cookies), and "Ms. T." was perfect as always. The show will be on in approximately six months so I will update you as I receive more information. "Ms. T" heads to New York this weekend for a huge pet contest- best of luck! I had to put the picture of me and "Ms. T" with the production crew since some of you might not believe me ....
I am officially on vacation until Monday (heading to Colorado for a ski trip). I will still have access to emails so please feel free to send me a message!

Baby number one will be here next month, and I can only image how gorgeous he is going to be!

Thanks for such a wonderful session- this is my favorite type of session with a beautifyl belly, a beautiful mom and such a sweet little dog!

My April Ad for Tampa Bay Parenting.....

I just had to share this one with all of you that are enjoying the craziness that my blog has to offer. I had such a great experience with these three little girls (this is their third session with me). If you know of any twins or triplets, I am always up to the challenge and will give 50% off any session fee to you for the referral, and to them also. I just love photographing multiples since you truly never know what kind of candid images you are going to get! Great picture of the dog too? Thank you Brandy M for making this amazing "chick" costume for me!

We Are The Boys From Old Florida....

So maybe they didn't actually attend the University of Florida... but I just thought that this was a really cool title! So meet The Boys- aren't they wonderful? I love the first image- what do you think they are saying to each other? Something like, "Look, I told you if you look at that weird woman with a camera, we can get this over with.' 'I can't even move right now JJ, my stomach hurts from all of the "yummy" treats that mom has given me." Ok so I had to find a way to put the word treats in here. I met their mommy a few weeks back. She has started her own doggie treat business. I will post her website and more information as I get it. Trust me- your dog will never want to go back to the "box" stuff once they taste what Becky has made! Awesome session with these two guys!

A Wonderful Maternity Session!

Ok- so you do the math... two gorgeous little girls, one amazingly beautiful mom and one baby on the way. Do you think that this maternity session could have gone any better? Well... take a look at the incredible images. I had so much fun with these little girls- I know that I have two boys, and I tend to get a little jealous of the fact that I do not get "girly" very often, but that's what my clients are for! I really loved working with all of you! Thank you "K" family!

Sweet Caroline... ba da ba dum

Oh how sweet she is! Gorgeous, perfect and just amazing to photograph! The six month session is the best time to photograph any child! I received an email from this client stating that she wanted fun photos with props. I love props, but I also love to photograph children just being themselves- I have the best of both worlds at my studio! I could have posted all eighty images from this session since they were just that good! Gotta love the first image with her hand on her head- she is saying "Lady I have a headache from all of these lights flashing at me"! What a great session- thank you!

Just another race... well maybe a little more!

So I did my first marathon last Sunday. After running for almost 20 years and 4 years of triathlons, I decided to go for it. Yes, it was windy, rainy and cold- but I LOVED IT! I wanted to thank everyone that endured the crazy weather to support me. A special thank you to Gretchen Dominquez and my sister Beth Hurd for taking these amazing photographs! There is nothing better than seeing a familiar face during the 26.2 miles of craziness. The only fatality during the race was my two toenails that lifted at mile 22- thank you Dr. Katz for ripping them off (can I be anymore dramatic here). I highly encourage anyone to do a marathon- I did this one in 4 hours, 15 minutes!

Rover Done Over! A mobile dog grooming business

I met Gretchen the owner of Rover Done Over last week at a Woman's Networking Group. She has opened her own mobile pet grooming business- just an awesome idea. Love the name too! So I let her take on my first born Carl- the 98(+) Labrador since I knew that he would fall in love with his first spa treatment. He looks and smells great- better than the rest of my family that's for sure! She uses a tool called the furminator that removes excess hair, but does not cut his hair (my husband thought he would look like a Mexican Hairless)- but he looks awesome! Attached is Carl the Superdog watching the runners of the 15K. He was a great motivator! I ran the marathon on Sunday- a super awesome race. I will post more about it tomorrow! Please check out Gretchen's website and contact information at www.roverdoneover.net

Pet Portraits on Sunday, March 15th

I was honored when Dr. Rosenburg of Bayshore Animal Clinic called me and asked me to photograph dogs/cats for his open house on Sunday, March 15th from 1-4. I will be donating a portion of the proceeds to St. Francis. $25.00 gets you one 8x10 or two 5x7's. This image is titled "Chick Magnet"- how cute is he! I did a quick session last week with this little Yorkie to advertise the event in the Tampa Tribune! Thanks Bogie for being so cute!
